Organizations can add an unlimited number of Team Members, allowing employees from different departments or relevant stakeholders to conveniently record, verify, and manage data.

However, the system allows one Admin per organization. The Admin has the authority to manage the system, assign user permissions, and maintain the organization’s core settings within CO2ZERO.

Yes. Organizations can contact the CO2ZERO team to request a change of Admin privileges. 

This function supports situations where personnel change positions, responsibilities, or leave the organization, ensuring continuous and secure access management. The CO2ZERO team will verify and confirm the relevant information before making any changes.

Yes. Organizations without subsidiaries can use the system normally without creating additional Sub Companies.

However, the Sub Company function can also be used to organize data by department, business unit, factory, branch, or project, making carbon data tracking, analysis, and reporting more efficient.

If an organization wants to use the Sub Company structure for data management but does not actually have subsidiaries, it can assign the same name as the parent company to the Sub Company without affecting calculations or other system functions.

Organizations can determine the frequency of data entry based on their operational requirements, whether monthly, quarterly, or annually. CO2ZERO supports data storage and calculations across different reporting periods.

However, CO2ZERO recommends monthly data entry, as this enables organizations to continuously monitor greenhouse gas emission trends and conduct more effective in-depth analysis. This includes comparing monthly carbon emissions, identifying periods or activities with unusually high emissions, and planning targeted emission reduction measures more quickly.

Regular data entry also reduces the burden of collecting historical data and improves data accuracy for future sustainability and carbon footprint reporting.

Yes. Data can be imported from Excel files into CO2ZERO, provided that the file follows the template format specified by the system.

Users can download a sample template or export data from the system, enter or edit additional information, and then import the file back into the system. This helps ensure that the data format is accurate and aligned with the system’s calculation structure.

The standardized template helps reduce data import errors, improve calculation accuracy, and make the management of large volumes of data more efficient.

CO2ZERO is a web-based platform, so no software installation is required on users’ computers. The system can be accessed immediately via the internet from an office, factory, or other location.

The time required to get started depends on the preparation of data and the initial organizational setup, such as defining Locations, Activity Data, and Users within the system. Once the initial setup is complete, the organization can immediately begin recording and managing carbon data.

As a web-based platform, CO2ZERO enables users to conveniently access data and monitor performance anytime, anywhere, and from any internet-connected device.

Yes. CO2ZERO allows organizations to define and manage their own Emission Factors (Custom EF) within the system, ensuring that calculations are aligned as closely as possible with the organization’s data and operational context.

The system is highly flexible and supports both standard Emission Factors and organization-specific Emission Factors developed internally or obtained from suppliers, manufacturers, or other reference sources. This allows organizations to select the most appropriate data for their calculation objectives.

This is particularly useful for Scope 3 calculations, which are often complex and vary across industries. CO2ZERO enables organizations to design data structures, customize Activity Data, and define Emission Factors to comprehensively reflect their supply chains and operational processes.
